Using Properties

There are basically 3 types of Properties dialog boxes: defining diets and menus, adding foods to diets and menus, and creating recipes. Some fields may vary depending upon the function. Click a link below to access its Properties dialog box information.

When a screen contains multiple items, highlight the items and select Properties. The Properties dialog box displays the properties that the items share in common.

  • For instance, if three beverages are selected from a menu and the serving size for each beverage is 8 oz., the Properties dialog box for the three beverages contains 8 oz in the Serving size field. If the serving size is changed for one beverage, that field is blank.
  • It is also possible to change entries for all three selected items at once using the Properties dialog box.
  • You can also view a Properties dialog box for individual items by selecting one item from a list and selecting Properties.
