Printing client groups reports

Click to print reports from the Client Groups editor. The Client Group Reports dialog box appears.

The Client Group Reports dialog box contains these tabbed sections:

  • General
  • Diet Records
  • Menus

A preview of the report selection appears in the right pane.

The General tab contains these options for creating reports:

  • Diets and menus, a list of diets and menus for the clients, including names, start dates, end dates, and notes.
  • Nutrient goal, the client group's goal type, nutrients, and values.

The Diet Records tab contains these options for creating reports:

  • Diet record report, the information on the current Diet Record screen. Click and the Select Report Nutrientsdialog box appears. This dialog allows you to select up to 10 nutrients to appear in a printed report.
  • Diet record intake, calories, the amount of macronutrients and percent of calories, and all foods with amounts and portions, days, and meals.
  • Essential amino acids, the food, amount and portion, total grams of protein, and milligrams of each amino acid.
  • Exchange summary, Name of food, amount, unit, exchange, and exchange value for each food in day/meal order.
  • Food guide pyramid analysis, the USDA Food Guide Pyramid narrative, graphic of the Food Guide Pyramid, and an analysis of the diet per food group.
  • Food guide pyramid summary, a list of all the foods in the diet and the Pyramid servings for each food.
  • My Pyramid summary, a list of all the foods in the diet and the Pyramid servings for each food based on the US Department of Agriculture, The Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion.
  • My Pyramid analysis, the USDA My Pyramid narrative, graphic taken as an average of the My Pyramid, and an analysis of the diet per food group.

My Pyramid Vegetable Subgroup, shows the amount of vegetables consumed within certain number of days as well as the recommended amount per week.

  • Graphic analysis, the nutrients and average daily values, bar graph of percent of goal achieved, and goal amount. Click and the Select Report Nutrients dialog box appears. This dialog allows you to select up to 10 nutrients to appear in a printed report.
  • Nutrient analysis, the number of foods in the diet, a complete list of nutrients, the daily average values, goal, percent of goal, diabetic exchanges, and a nutrient summary with percent of calories from macronutrients.
  • Nutrient deficiencies, a list of nutrients where amounts in the diet are less than 70 percent of the goal. To change this percentage, select Tools/Options/Reports. Type the percentage in the Deficiency field for Reports.
  • Nutrient excesses, a list of nutrients where amounts in the diet are more than 120 percent of goal; goal, percent of goal, and recommendations for reducing the consumption of specific foods. To change this percentage, select Tools/Options/Reports. Type the percentage in the Excess field for Reports.
  • Food profiling, a list of ingredients, amounts, and nutrients. Sort the list before printing. Click and the Select Report Nutrients dialog box appears. This dialog allows you to select up to 10 nutrients to appear in a printed report.
  • Nutrition summary, a list of nutrients and daily average values, separated into groups: macronutrients, vitamins, minerals, amino acids.
  • Dietary guidelines for Americans, USDA 2005 Dietary Guidelines for Americans narrative with the macronutrient values in the current diet, percent of goal, and goal values.
  • Click the Include goal percentages check box to include these percentages in the report.

The Menus tab contains these options for creating reports:

  • Menu report, the information on the current Menu screen. Click and the Select Report Nutrients dialog box appears. This dialog allows you to select up to 10 nutrients to appear in a printed report.
  • Nutrient analysis, a complete list of nutrients, values, goal, percent goal, missing values, diabetic exchanges, and a nutrient summary with percent of goal from macronutrients.
  • Food profiling, a list of ingredients, amounts, and nutrients. Sort the list before printing. Click and the Select Report Nutrients dialog box appears. This dialog allows you to select up to 10 nutrients to appear in a printed report.
  • Nutrition summary, the daily average values and percent of goal for macronutrients, vitamins, minerals, and amino acids.
  • Shopping list, a list of all foods in the menu and a breakdown of all foods by category with amounts to purchase.
  • Click the Include goal percentages check box to include these percentages in the report.

The Select Report Nutrients dialog box is available for some reports. Click when the button is available and the Select Report Nutrients dialog box appears. This dialog allows you to select up to 10 nutrients to appear in a printed report.

note

If you select nutrients in a list or in Profiling View, you must make the same selections to appear in a printed report by selecting from the Print Report dialog when this button is available; otherwise, the default nutrients appear in the printed report.
