Modifying HACCPs

Nutritionist Pro utilizes food preparation and kitchen production HACCP items as measures to ensure food safety and good sanitation practices. You can create custom HACCP categories and add text for custom HACCPs.

Access to this screen is only available if you have purchased the Food Labeling option.

To use the Modify HACCPs dialog box, follow these steps:

  1. Select Tools/HACCPs from the menu bar. The Modify HACCPs dialog box appears.
  2. Click an item under HACCP categories. Text for the selected category appears in the HACCP area.
    • To create a custom HACCP category, click the HACCP categories button. New HACCP category appears in the Name field and Custom appears in the Data Source field.
    • Rename the New HACCP category by selecting it and typing a new name.
    • Click the HACCP categories button to remove a custom item.
    • To enter text for a custom HACCP, click the HACCPs button. A new field highlights at the bottom of the dialog. New HAACCP appears in the Text field and Custom appears in the Data Source field.
    • Type text for the custom HACCP in the New HACCPs area.
    • Click the HACCPs button to remove an item.

It is not possible to add a blank HACCP.

  1. Use the scroll bars to view all text.
  2. Select the appropriate text for a particular recipe.
  3. Click to accept the HACCPs. Text for the selected HACCP appears on the Recipe Report and the Recipe Card report when you add the HACCP to the recipe.
    • Click at any time to cancel the operation.
