Defining menus for client groups
A menu is a listing of meals or foods to be served. Menus are used for planning what clients will eat. Use the Menus tab to create menus for client groups.
To create a new menu, either by typing values in the screen or using a template, after opening or adding a client group, complete the following steps:
- Click
to access Menu and Menu from Template options.
- Select Menu and a New Menu file appears in the dialog box.
- A New Menu allows you to create a menu for a client group.
- Complete a New Menu.
- Select View/Analysis from the Menus menu bar to view a detailed analysis of the menu.
- Select View/Profiling from the menu bar to view information about all foods in a menu or diet. Sort the list as desired.
- Select Menu from Template and the Select Menu from Template dialog box appears.
- Using a template allows you to modify an existing template for a client group.
- Complete a Menu from Template.
- Select View/Analysis from the Menus menu bar to view a detailed analysis of the menu.
- Select View/Profiling from the menu bar to view information about all foods in a menu or diet. Sort the list as desired.

After selecting New Menu or Menu from Template, right-click the mouse in the dialog box to access shortcut menus for each screen.

. The New Menu Properties dialog box appears. Complete the Properties dialog box.
- Click
to open the menu.

You can also double click or right-click on the New Menu file to open the dialog box.
- Click
to remove the menu from the window.
- Click

to rearrange the order of Menu and Menu from Template files appearing in the Menus window.
- Click
to save the information in the Client Groups editor, including the groups' menus.
- Select File/Save As to save the file under a new name.
- Click
to access either the New Menu or Menu from Template screen.

to remove the selected menu or menu template.
