Client reports

Client reports are how the analysis reaches the client. They cover the client's details, their diet records, their food questionnaires, and their menus.

Open the reports

  1. Click Clients in the sidebar, then PRINT Report. You can also click Reports in the sidebar and then the Client card.
  2. Find the client in the list, using the search field if you need to.
  3. Click Reports on the client's row. The Client Reports dialog opens with four tabs.

Select a report from the Select Report list on any tab and it renders in the pane below.

General

Reports about the client rather than their intake:

  • Contact Information
  • Nutrient Goal, the client's goal type, nutrients, and values
  • Diets and Menus, a list of the client's diets and menus with dates and notes
  • Exercise Sets, the sets and the activities in them
  • Weight Management, the recorded weights with a chart of weight, calorie intake, calorie expenditure, and estimated change
  • Special Notes, the client's clinical notes. Use the notes list on the report to switch between visit notes, diagnosis, lab, medical history, and prescription notes
  • Client List, names and contact information for all of your clients

Diet Record

Choose a diet record from the Select Diet Record list, then a report. Twenty-two are available:

  • Diet Record Report, the contents of the record
  • Diet Record Intake, calories, macronutrient amounts and their share of calories, and every food by day and meal
  • Nutrient Analysis, the full nutrient list with daily averages, goal, percent of goal, and exchanges
  • Nutrition Summary, daily averages grouped into macronutrients, vitamins, minerals, and amino acids
  • Graphic Analysis, nutrients and daily averages with a bar graph of percent of goal
  • Nutrient Deficiencies and Nutrient Excesses, the nutrients that fall short of or exceed the goal
  • Essential Amino Acids, protein and amino acid amounts per food
  • Exchange Summary, the exchange value of every food in day and meal order
  • Food Profiling, ingredients, amounts, and nutrients
  • Food Guide Pyramid Analysis and Food Guide Pyramid Summary
  • My Pyramid Analysis, My Pyramid Summary, and My Pyramid Vegetable Sub-Group
  • MyPlate Analysis, MyPlate Analysis, Spanish, and MyPlate Summary
  • Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2005 -- FGP
  • Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2010 -- MyPlate
  • Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2015 -- Spanish
  • Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2020

The MyPlate, MyPyramid, and Dietary Guidelines reports are the ones to reach for when you are educating rather than assessing: they set the client's intake against the published guidance and its graphics.

Food Questionnaire

Five reports, covering habitual intake:

  • Food Questionnaire Report, the contents of the questionnaire
  • Nutrient Analysis
  • Nutrition Summary
  • Food Profiling
  • Food Questionnaire Form, a blank printable questionnaire to give to a client

Seven reports for the client's menus: Menu Report, Nutrient Analysis, Nutrition Summary, Food Profiling, Shopping List, Food List, and Meals Report.

Choose nutrients and export

On the Diet Record Report, Food Questionnaire Report, Menu Report, Graphic Analysis, and Food Profiling reports, click Select Nutrients to choose which nutrients appear.

Use the buttons at the top of the report to download it as PDF or XLSX, or to Print.

Client group reports

Client groups have their own report dialog with three tabs: General (Diets and Menus, Nutrient Goal), Diet Record (the same twenty-two reports), and Menus (the same seven). Open it from Client Groups > PRINT Report. See client groups.
