Using the mouse and keyboard

Nutritionist Pro allows you to navigate with the mouse and keyboard using standard shortcut keys and clicking techniques. The Menu Templates editor and Menus and Diets in the Clients and Client Groups editors function like Windows® Explorer®, using folders with subcategories and providing shortcut menus.

In most cases, the same functions can be performed using the Toolbar icons, Menu bar commands, or shortcut menu commands.

Here are some techniques for using the mouse:

  • With the cursor in a window, right-click the mouse to access a shortcut menu with commands pertaining to that screen or region.
  • Double-click any program window's top horizontal bar to maximize the screen. Double-click the bar a second time to return the screen to its previous size.

Toolbar buttons can only be accessed with the mouse.
