Manufacturers

A manufacturer records who makes an ingredient or a recipe. Nutritionist Pro ships a list of manufacturers, and you can add your own for the suppliers and brands you work with. Once added, a manufacturer can be chosen on any ingredient or recipe, and it can be used to search and filter your records.

Comes with the Diet analysis and Menu creation modules

Manufacturers is part of the Diet analysis module and the Menu creation module. It is not included with a Label module subscription on its own.

Not available on a trial

Manufacturers is disabled for trial accounts.

Find a manufacturer​

  1. Click Tools in the sidebar, then open Add/Edit Manufacturers.
  2. Enter part of the name in Name Contains, and choose a Region to narrow the list further.

The list shows the manufacturer name, its region, its data source, who created it, and when it was created and last changed. Data Source tells you whether a manufacturer came with Nutritionist Pro or was added by your account. You can only edit and delete the ones your account added.

Add a manufacturer​

  1. On the Manufacturers page, start a new manufacturer.
  2. Enter the Manufacturer Name. This field is required.
  3. Choose the Region it applies to.
  4. Click Save, or Cancel to discard it.

Edit or delete a manufacturer​

Use the actions on the manufacturer's row. Deleting a manufacturer does not delete the ingredients or recipes assigned to it.
