HACCPs

HACCP stands for Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, the food safety approach that identifies where a hazard can be introduced in preparing a food and what controls it. In Nutritionist Pro you keep a list of HACCP steps, grouped into categories, and attach the ones that apply to a recipe.

Nutritionist Pro ships a standard set of HACCP steps and categories, and you can add your own.

Comes with the Diet analysis and Menu creation modules

HACCPs is part of the Diet analysis module and the Menu creation module. It is not included with a Label module subscription on its own.

Not available on a trial

HACCPs is disabled for trial accounts.

Find a HACCP step

  1. Click Tools in the sidebar, then open Add/Edit HACCPs.
  2. The HACCPs tab lists the individual steps, and the Categories tab lists the groups they belong to.
  3. Enter part of the name in Name Contains, and filter by Data Source to show only My Data or only the steps supplied as Axxya Systems.

Each list shows the name, its data source, who created it, and when it was created and last changed. You can only edit and delete the entries your account added.

Add a HACCP step

  1. Open the HACCPs tab and start a new entry.
  2. Enter the HACCPs Name.
  3. Choose the HACCPs Categories it belongs to.
  4. Click Save, or Cancel to discard it.

Add a category

Open the Categories tab and add the category there. Add a category before the steps that belong to it, so it can be chosen when you create them.

Use HACCPs on a recipe

Once a step exists, it can be attached to a recipe from the recipe editor, and it appears on the recipe reports that include HACCP information.
