Specifying general recipe information in recipe books

The General tab in the Recipe Books editor contains the following read-only information for recipes:

  • The Reference field contains the reference for the recipe's origin.
  • The Number of servings field contains the number of servings the recipe serves.
  • The Serving amount field identifies the number amount paired with serving units.
  • The Ingredients area contains the amount and unit for each ingredient.
    • The Text field contains the ingredient, amount and unit.
    • The Amount field repeats the amount as a decimal value.
    • The Unit field repeats the unit of measure in abbreviated format.
  • The Instructions area contains instructions for completing the recipe.
