Online help

View online Help using any of the following methods:

  • Press the F1 key to access context-sensitive information describing the current screen.
  • Select Help/Nutritionist Pro Help on the menu bar to locate a topic using the Contents, Index, or Search tab.
  • Click on the toolbar to locate a topic using the Contents, Index, or Search tab.

The tabs provide the following access to topics:

  • Contents , lists topics grouped by task. Open a book and click a topic to display.
  • Index , lists items in alphabetical order and allows you to type a topic, match a selection, and display a list of topics from which to choose.
  • Search , allows you to enter a word or words from which to search, select matching words to narrow the search, and click a topic to display.

The Help screens contain buttons in the upper-left corner. Use the buttons, in addition to the menu bar commands, to locate topics, print Help screens, and navigate through the online Help. The buttons provide the following access to topics:

  • or , navigates to the previous or next Help screen within the entire help utility.

The Help screens contain the following links to other topics and pop-up windows:

  • Text with a solid underline , navigates to other topics within the online Help. Click the button to return to the previous screen. Alternatively, text with a solid underline may display a pop-up window with additional information for the topic. Click a second time anywhere on the screen to close the pop-up window.

Most Help screens include a Related Topics button under the title. Follow these steps to use the Related Topics button:

  1. Click the Related Topics links and you will be taken directly to the related topic.
  2. Click the appropriate topic.
  3. Click Display to view the Help screen.

At the bottom of each Help screen that is part of a major topic, such as Using the Foods Editor, there is a link for returning to the beginning of the major topic. Click the link and the Help screen appears for that topic. The following is an example of this type of link:
